Lactase deficiency is a common problem in children in the first year of life.

Lactose intolerance – a milk sugar – can occur due to intestinal infections and other causes. In this case, if there is no possibility of breastfeeding, specialists recommend using lactose-free formula to avoid unpleasant gastrointestinal symptoms.

Nutrilon® Lactose-free formula has been specifically designed for children with lactose intolerance. In this formula the lactose has been replaced with easily digestible glucose syrup. In case of complete or partial lactase deficiency Nutrilon® Bezlaktozny can be used from birth as the only food source as well as for partial dietary substitution.

Special composition of Nutrilon® Lactose-free:

• provides rapid relief from symptoms of lactase deficiency;
• normalizes intestinal barrier function and improves digestion thanks to the nucleotides contained in the mixture;
• promotes brain development and vision thanks to a complex of special ARA/DHA fatty acids.

Composition

Glucose syrup, a mixture of vegetable oils (palm, rapeseed, coconut, sunflower, Mortierellaalpina oil), calcium caseinate (from milk), sources of minerals (trisodium citrate, tricalium citrate, tricalcium phosphate, magnesium chloride, dicalciumhydrophosphate, Potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, iron sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, manganese sulfate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite), fish oil, emulsifier-soy lecithin, L-cysteine hydrochloride, choline chloride, vitamin sources (L-ascorbic acid, L-ascorbate sodium, DL-alpha-tocopherol acetate, nicotinamide, calcium D-pantothenate, D-biotin, folic acid, retinol palmitate, riboflavin, DL-alpha-tocopherol, cyanocobalamin, thiamine hydrochloride, retinol acetate, cholecalciferol, pyridoxine hydrochloride, phytomenadione), taurine, L-tryptophan, inositol, nucleotides (uridine 5-monophosphate sodium salt, cytidine 5-monophosphate, adenosine 5-monophosphate, inosine 5-monophosphate sodium salt, guanosine 5-monophosphate sodium salt), L-carnitine.

Directions for use

1. Wash your hands and sterilize the bottle and nipple.
2. Boil the water. Chill it to 40°C.
3. Feed exactly the amount of water listed on the feeding chart and fill into the sterilized bottle. Do not reuse boiled water.
4. Use the measuring spoon, it is inside the package.

Pick off the slide of the dry mixture with the back of a knife.

1. Add the exact amount of measuring spoonfuls of mixture to the water. Adding more or less than the specified amount may be harmful to your baby’s health.
2. Close the bottle and shake well in a circular motion until the mixture has dissolved.
3. Check the temperature of the ready-mix on the inside of your wrist (37°C).

100 ml of Nutrilon^® Lactose-free formula=90 ml of water + 3 scoops of dry formula.

1 scoop = 4.3 g dry mix.

Special Instructions

IMPORTANT:

• Breastfeeding is preferable for infants.
• Consult with a specialist before using the formula.
• If the instructions for preparing and storing the formula are not followed, it may be harmful to your baby’s health.
• Never leave your baby alone when feeding.
• Do not prescribe to children who are allergic to any ingredient in the product.

WARNING:

• Prepare food immediately before consumption!
• Do not use leftover formula for later feeding!
• Do not heat formula in a microwave oven to avoid hot lumps in the formula.
• Strictly follow the recommended amount of formula when preparing it and do not add anything to the formula you have prepared.
