Otirelax, ear drops 15 ml

Otirelax is a combined medicine for local symptomatic therapy and pain relief for otitis media and external otitis media, widely used in pediatric practice as well.

It has a local anesthetic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Composition

Active ingredients:

Phenazone 40 mg,

Lidocaine hydrochloride 10 mg

Assisted substances:

Sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate,

Ethanol 96%,

p> glycerol,

sodium hydroxide (1M solution),

purified water.

How to take, the dosage

The drops are put into the external auditory canal, 3-4 drops 2-3 times a day. To avoid contact of the cold solution with the auricle the bottle should be warmed in the palms before use.

The course of treatment should not exceed 10 days.

Special Instructions

The integrity of the tympanic membrane should be ensured before using the drug. If the drug is used with a perforated eardrum, the active ingredients may penetrate into the systemic blood stream, which may lead to complications.

The duration of use of Otirelx is not more than 10 days, after which the prescribed therapy should be corrected.

When using Otirelax in combination with other ear drops, it is necessary to maintain an interval of at least 30 minutes between injections.

Please note that the product contains the active ingredient which may give a positive test in a doping control.

Contraindications

Side effects

Possible: local allergic reactions, irritation and hyperemia of the ear canal, minor pain during use.

Pregnancy use

Pregnant use is possible only when the estimated benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus.

If it is necessary to use during lactation, discontinuation of breastfeeding should be considered.
