The components of OQUITE® forte are not produced by the body and must be included in the daily diet. Carotenoids contained in the product protect the retina from the damaging effects of bright light, reduce the risk of the onset and development of age-related degenerative changes in the retina and have anti-inflammatory properties.

Lutein is a carotenoid that serves as natural protection of the retina from too much bright light.

Leaxanthin is a yellow pigment from the xanthophyll group that accumulates in the human retinal pigment and serves as a defense mechanism against light-induced cell damage and promotes the destruction of lipofuscin.

Vitamins C and E and the minerals zinc and selenium contained in the vitamin-mineral complex “OQUAIT® forte”, being natural antioxidants, help reduce the effect of harmful factors and preserve the vision, strengthen blood vessels, including those of the fundus.

Vitamin C is one of the main antioxidants necessary for humans. It participates in the regulation of redox processes, carbohydrate metabolism, blood coagulation, regulates the recovery of visual pigments, reduces elevated intraocular pressure and reduces the risk of glaucoma.

Vitamin E serves as a biological antioxidant that inactivates free radicals and thus prevents their formation. It prevents increased capillary fragility and permeability. It prevents the appearance and development of cataracts.

Zinc is involved in the process of antioxidant protection of cell membranes. It protects the eyes from damage caused by exposure to ultraviolet light and bright light. Intake of zinc helps to slow age-related changes in the retina. Zinc deficiency may lead to decreased color perception and formation of cataracts.

Selenium is a strong antioxidant that protects cells from the toxic effects of peroxide radicals.

The dietary supplement OQUAIT® forte has been specifically designed to protect the health of your eyes. Clinical studies have shown that long-term intake of lutein and zeaxanthin increases macular pigment density and helps maintain high visual acuity.

Indications

Vision disorders as a dietary food supplement – a source of carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin) and an additional source of vitamins C, E, zinc and selenium.

Composition

Microcrystalline cellulose (E460(i)), ascorbic acid (ethylcellulose (E462)), encapsulated lutein and zeaxanthin esters from marigold flowers (lutein, zeaxanthin, gelatin, sucrose, palm oil, silicon dioxide (E551), ascorbyl palmitate (E304), tocopherols, concentrate mixture (E306)) tocopherol acetate (maltodextin (E1400), food starch, silicon dioxide (E551)), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (E464), selenium (selenium-enriched inactivated yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae) zinc oxide, stearic acid (E570), titanium dioxide (E171), magnesium stearate (E470b), riboflavin (E101), iron oxides (E172).

Directions for use

Adults are prescribed 1 tablet. 1 time/day with meals.

The duration of treatment is 1 month.
