Nooclerin, 200 mg/ml 100 ml

Nooklerin is a nootropic drug, its chemical structure is close to natural metabolites of the brain (GABA, glutamic acid). It has a neuroprotective effect, improves memory and learning, has a positive effect in asthenic and adynamic disorders, increasing the motor and mental activity of patients.

When using the drug the ability to concentrate improves.

Noclerin® has a positive effect in neurotic conditions in elderly and senile patients who have developed against the background of organic brain failure, in
alcoholic-abstinence syndrome.

Pharmacokinetics

In 0.5-1 hour after oral administration it is found in maximum concentration in the brain, in smaller amounts in the liver, heart, lungs, blood plasma and kidneys. The elimination half-life is 24 hours. It is excreted by the kidneys.

Indications

Concussion and other craniocerebral injuries, Impaired cerebral circulation

In adults:

• reconvalescence period after head injuries;
• asthenic and astheno-depressive disorders;
• curing (in complex therapy) of alcoholic-abstinence syndrome;
• used as a remedy for improving memory and attention processes (intellectual and mental functions).

In children 10 years and older:

• borderline neuropsychiatric disorders of asthenic and neurotic nature, including the consequences of brain injury.

Composition

Active substances:

acetylglutamic acid (N-acetyl-L-glutamic acid) 13.6 g,

deanol (2-(dimethylamino)ethanol) 6.4 g,

methyl parahydroxybenzoate 33 mg,

propyl parahydroxybenzoate 16.7 mg,

xylitol (xylite) 1.0 g,

Purified water up to 100 ml.

How to take, the dosage

One teaspoon of the solution (5 ml) corresponds to 1 g of the active ingredient. Adults take the drug orally 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day, the last intake no later than 4 hours before bedtime.

The maximal single dose is 2 g (2 tea spoons); in special cases the dose can be increased by the prescription (the maximal daily dose is 10 g (10 tea spoons)).

Therapeutic daily dose in children 10-12 years old should be 0.5-1.0 g
(1/2-1 teaspoon) of Nooclerin®, in children over 12 years old 1-2 g (1-2 teaspoons).

The duration of treatment is 1.5-2 months 2-3 times a year.

Interaction

It is possible to enhance the effect of CNS stimulating drugs.

Contraindications

Personal hypersensitivity to the drug, infectious CNS disorders, febrile and psychotic states, blood system disorders, expressed liver and kidney function disorders, pregnancy and lactation, age under 10 years.

Side effects

Allergic reactions, headaches, sleep disorders, constipation, weight loss, itching, in some cases – dyspepsia (in the elderly).
