Nasivin® Sensitive (oxymetazoline) has a vasoconstrictor effect. When applied topically on the inflamed nasal mucosa it reduces its swelling and nasal discharge. It restores nasal breathing.
Indications
Pollinosis, Otitis media, Runny nose (rhinitis), Allergic rhinitis, Colds, Sneezing, Flu, Nasal congestion, Sinusitis
- Acute respiratory diseases with rhinitis

How to take, the dosage
Nasivin® Sensitive nasal spray dosed with 22.5 mcg/dose is intended for intranasal administration.
Special Instructions
Avoid getting the drug in the eyes.

Synopsis
- Cold or viral upper respiratory tract infections accompanied by a runny nose, sinusitis, eustachianitis, otitis media, rhinitis of any etiology;
- To eliminate swelling before diagnostic manipulations in the nasal passages.
Contraindications
- Atrophic rhinitis;
- Open angle glaucoma;
- Hypersensitivity to the drug components.
Nasivin® Sensitiv nasal spray dosed (22.5 mcg/dose) is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age.
With caution when:
- high intraocular pressure;
- chronic heart failure;
arterial hypertension, angina pectoris;
- arrhythmia;
- chronic renal insufficiency;
- patients with prostatic hyperplasia with clinical symptoms (urinary retention);
- in hyperthyroidism;
- diabetes mellitus;
- pheochromocytoma.

Overdose
Symptoms (after significant overdose or accidental ingestion):
constriction of the pupils, nausea, vomiting, cyanosis, increased body temperature, tachycardia, arrhythmia, vascular failure, arterial hypertension, respiratory distress, pulmonary edema, cardiac arrest; In addition, psychiatric disorders may occur, as well as CNS depression accompanied by somnolence, decreased body temperature, bradycardia, arterial hypotension, respiratory arrest, and possible development of a coma.
Treatment:
Gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal and immediate medical attention.
Pregnancy use
When used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, the recommended dose should not be exceeded.
The drug should only be used if the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child.
