Nasivin Sensitive, spray 11.25 mcg/dose 10 ml

Nasivin® Sensitive (oxymetazoline) has a vasoconstrictor effect. When applied topically on the inflamed nasal mucosa it reduces its swelling and nasal discharge. It restores nasal breathing.

Indications

Colds or viral infections of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by a runny nose, sinusitis, eustachitis, otitis media, rhinitis of any etiology;
To eliminate swelling before diagnostic manipulations in the nasal passages.

Pharmacological effect

Nazivin® Sensitive (oxymetazoline) has a vasoconstrictor effect. When applied topically to the inflamed mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, it reduces swelling and nasal discharge. Restores nasal breathing.

Special instructions

Avoid getting the drug in your eyes.
To avoid the spread of infection, it is necessary to use the drug individually.

Active ingredient

Oxymetazoline

Composition

1 ml of solution contains:

Active substance:

Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.250 mg;

Excipients:

citric acid monohydrate 0.609 mg;

sodium citrate dihydrate 3.823 mg;

glycerol (85%) 24.921 mg;

purified water 978.397 mg.

Total: 1008.00 mg, which is equivalent to 1 ml.

Pregnancy

When used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, do not exceed the recommended dose.

The drug can only be used in cases where the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child.

Contraindications

Atrophic rhinitis;
Angle-closure glaucoma;
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Nazivin® Sensitive nasal spray dosed (11.25 mcg/dose) is contraindicated in children under 1 year of age.

With caution when:
increased intraocular pressure;
chronic heart failure;
arterial hypertension, angina pectoris;
arrhythmias;
chronic renal failure;
in patients with prostatic hyperplasia with clinical symptoms (urinary retention);
severe atherosclerosis;
with hyperthyroidism;
diabetes mellitus;
pheochromocytoma.

Overdose

Symptoms (after significant overdose or accidental ingestion):

constriction of the pupils, nausea, vomiting, cyanosis, increased body temperature, tachycardia, arrhythmia, vascular insufficiency, arterial hypertension, respiratory disorders, pulmonary edema, cardiac arrest; in addition, mental disorders may appear, as well as depression of central nervous system functions, accompanied by drowsiness, decreased body temperature, bradycardia, arterial hypotension, respiratory arrest and possible development of coma.

Treatment: gastric lavage, taking activated carbon and urgently consulting a doctor.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of the reach of children.
