Vasoconstrictor agent. It stimulates alpha1- and alpha2-adrenoreceptors, has antiedematous effect. The vasoconstrictor effect is manifested by local application on the nasal mucosa. In rhinitis it facilitates nasal breathing by reducing blood flow to venous sinuses.

How to take, the dosage
Intranasally (into each nasal passage), 1-3 drops 3-4 times a day in adults.

Special Instructions
It is not recommended for chronic rhinitis.
In long-term use it should be taken into account that the vasoconstrictor effect gradually decreases (phenomenon of tachyphylaxis), so after 5-7 days of use it is recommended to take a break for a few days.

arterial hypertension,
expressed atherosclerosis,
thyrotoxicosis, severe eye diseases, including closed-angle glaucoma,
chronic rhinitis,
Side effects
Reactions due to the local action of the drug: mucous membrane irritation, reactive hyperemia, when used for more than 1 week – mucous membrane edema, atrophic rhinitis.
Reactions caused by the systemic action of the drug: nausea, headache; in some cases in predisposed patients – increase in BP, tachycardia.
