Mycoseptin, ointment 30 g

Mycoseptin is an antifungal.

It reduces the barrier function of the cell wall of the fungus.

Pharmacodynamics

Acts against dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Microsporum).

Indications

Prevention and treatment of dermatomycosis, including epidermophytosis, and trichophytosis of the skin of the lower extremities.

Active ingredient

Composition

1 g of the ointment contains:

Active ingredients:

Undecylenic acid 50 mg;

Zinc salt of undecylenic acid 200 mg;

Excipients:

paraffin solid,

liquid paraffin,

solid paraffin (melting point 64-68°C),

white petroleum jelly,

stearic acid,

white wax,

methylparaben,

pork fat monoglycerides (dimodan),

oleomacrogol (wordpol),

purified water.

How to take, the dosage

Externally. Apply to the affected area 2 times a day, after the disappearance of clinical signs – once a day every other day; for prophylaxis – twice a week.

Hypersensitivity

Side effects

A hypersensitivity reactions to the components of the drug in the form of redness, itching of the skin, swelling, burning sensation, skin rash are possible.

In case of signs of hypersensitivity, the drug should be discontinued and the doctor should be informed.
