Methyluracil has anabolic activity. It has hematopoietic, leukopoietic, immunostimulatory, anti-inflammatory effects.

Normalizing the nucleic exchange, it accelerates regeneration processes in wounds by accelerating the growth and granulation maturation of tissue and epithelization (including in the rapidly proliferating cells of the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract), stimulates erythro- and leukopoiesis, cellular and humoral immune factors.

Indications

Agranulocytic tonsillitis, alimentary-toxic aleukia, chronic benzene intoxication, sluggishly healing wounds, burns, bone fractures, gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic gastritis, hepatitis, pancreatitis, radiation therapy lesions.

Contraindications

Leukemic forms of leukemia (especially myeloid), lymphogranulomatosis, malignant diseases of the bone marrow.

Side Effects

Rarely – allergic skin reactions (urticarial rash), headache, dizziness.

Prescribing

Suppositories are white or white with a yellowish or creamy tint, torpedo-shaped.

The appearance of a white coating on the surface of the suppository is allowed.
