Methyluracil, 10% ointment 25 g

It has anabolic and anti-catabolic activity, accelerates the process of cell regeneration.

Indications

Slow-healing wounds, burns (thermal, chemical, radiation), photodermatitis.

Methyluracil can be used prophylactically to prevent skin reactions during irradiation of neoplasms with low radiosensitivity, to reduce radioepithelitis and late fusion of the vaginal walls (occlusions) – in the case of radiation therapy of genital neoplasms.

Composition

Methyluracil as an active substance 10 g and ointment base (medical petroleum jelly, aqueous lanolin) up to 100 g.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, excessive granulation.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions, headache, dizziness, short-term burning sensation.

Interaction

Methyluracil ointment is compatible with external applications of sulfonamides, antibiotics and antiseptics.
