Mastodynon is a combined homeopathic medicine.

It has a dopaminergic effect, due to which the secretion of prolactin by adenohypophysis is reduced.

The production of gonadotropic hormones of the pituitary gland is normalized which leads to the elimination of the insufficiency of the corpus luteum and the associated menstrual disorders and infertility.

When the level of prolactin decreases, the preconditions for the reversal of the pathological process in cystic fibrosis mastopathy are created. As a rule, therapeutic effect occurs after 6 weeks.

Indications

As a symptomatic remedy on the recommendation of a doctor during treatment:

– premenstrual syndrome (breast tension, mental lability, constipation, swelling, headache/migraine);

– fibrocystic mastopathy;

– menstrual irregularities and/or infertility caused by insufficiency of the corpus luteum.

Special instructions

If pregnancy occurs while taking Mastodinon tablets, the drug should be discontinued.

Vitex agnus castus (Agnus castus) Ø – 162.0 mg,

Strychnos ignatii (Ignatia) D6 – 81.0 mg,

Iris versicolor (Iris) D2 – 162.0 mg,

Excipients:

potato starch,

magnesium stearate,

lactose monohydrate.

Pregnancy

The drug should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Contraindications

– Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

– period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;

– Mastodinon tablets are not used for the treatment of malignant diseases of the mammary glands;

– due to the lactose content, this medicinal product is not suitable for patients suffering from rare inherited galactose intolerance, genetic lactase deficiency or glucose and galactose malabsorption;

– the drug should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Side Effects

Possible: allergic reactions.

In very rare cases, possible: stomach pain, nausea, slight weight gain, itchy exanthema, acne and headaches, and also, due to the content of Agnus castus, temporary psychomotor agitation, confusion and hallucinations may occur.

In these cases, it is necessary to discontinue the drug and consult a doctor.

Interaction

Treatment with homeopathic medicines does not exclude the use of other medicines.

The effect of the drug may be weakened while taking dopamine antagonists.
