Mastodynon is a combined homeopathic medicine.

It has a dopaminergic effect, due to which the secretion of prolactin by adenohypophysis is reduced.

The production of gonadotropic hormones of the pituitary gland is normalized which leads to the elimination of the insufficiency of the corpus luteum and the associated menstrual disorders and infertility.

When the level of prolactin decreases, the preconditions for the reversal of the pathological process in cystic fibrosis mastopathy are created. As a rule, therapeutic effect occurs after 6 weeks.

How to take, the dosage

Take orally 1 tablet 2 times a day, with a small amount of liquid.

Mastodynon should be taken for at least 3 months, including during menstruation.

Improvement usually occurs after 6 weeks.

If the complaints resume after stopping therapy, a doctor should be consulted. Because of good tolerability, the drug is suitable for long-term therapy.

Interaction

The treatment with homeopathic medicines does not exclude the use of other medicines.

The effects of the drug may be impaired if dopamine antagonists are taken at the same time.

Special Instructions

If you become pregnant while taking Mastodynon tablets, you should stop taking the medicine.

Smoking and drinking alcohol have a negative effect on the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies.

Contraindications

– Hypersensitivity to the drug components;

– Mastodynon tablets are not used for the treatment of malignant breast diseases;

– Due to the lactose content this medicine is not suitable for patients with rare inherited intolerance of galactose, genetic lactase deficiency or disorders of glucose and galactose absorption;

– The medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Side effects

Possible: allergic reactions.

In very rare cases, stomach pain, nausea, slight weight gain, pruritic exanthema, acne and headaches may occur, and due to the content of Agnus castus, temporary psychomotor agitation, confusion and hallucinations may occur.
