Lisobact is a combined drug, the effect of which is due to its constituent components.

Lysocim is an enzyme of protein nature, it is used as an antiseptic due to its direct effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi and viruses; it participates in the regulation of local non-specific immunity.

Pyridoxine has a protective effect on the oral mucosa (anti-aphtha effect). Does not affect the pharmacodynamic properties of lysozyme.

Composition

Active substances:

lysozyme hydrochloride 20 mg;

pyridoxine hydrochloride 10 mg,

Ancillary substances:

lactose monohydrate, 155.4 mg;

tragacanth gum, 10 mg;

p> magnesium stearate – 4 mg;

sodium saccharinate – 0.5 mg;

vanillin – 0.1 mg.

How to take, the dosage

Topically.

The tablets should be slowly swallowed without chewing, keeping the melted mass of the tablet in the mouth as long as possible, until complete dissolution.

Children aged 3-7 years are usually prescribed 1 tablet 3 times a day, 7-12 years – 1 tablet 4 times a day. Adults and children over 12 years of age – 2 tablets 3-4 times a day.

The course of treatment is 8 days.

Interaction

Lisobact® enhances the effect of antibiotics, including penicillin, chloramphenicol, nitrofurantoin, increases the effect of diuretics, weakens the activity of levodopa.

Isoniazid, penicillamine, pyrazinamide, immunosuppressants, estrogens and oral contraceptives may increase the need for pyridoxine (antagonistic action with respect to pyridoxine or increased renal excretion).

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose are unlikely, may occur after use in doses significantly higher than therapeutic and are manifested by numbness, tingling sensation, and loss of sensation in the upper and lower extremities.

Treatment: copious drinking (forced diuresis).
