The Kelo-Cote dries quickly to form an elastic, water-resistant and breathable film on the skin. When Kelo-Cote gel is applied to the scar, the gel forms a protective barrier at the site of application, which helps to reduce chemical, physical and bacterial effects, while preserving the water balance of the skin. It creates conditions for normalization of collagen synthesis and does not allow the scar to grow and improves the appearance of the scar.
After application of Kelo-Cote the acuteness of keloid and hypertrophic scars, itching and discomfort are reduced, the color is restored; scars are smoothed and softened, their aesthetic appearance is improved.

How to take, the dosage
Make sure the skin on the affected area is clean and dry. Apply Kelo-Cote to the affected area in a thin, continuous layer and let it dry.
Apply Kelo-Cote twice a day. For maximum results the Kelo-Cote should be in contact with your skin 24 hours a day. Once the gel is completely dry you can apply sunscreen and cosmetics and use pressure dressings. If Kelo-Cote does not dry within 4-5 minutes, the gel may have been applied thickly. In that case, gently remove the excess and allow the remaining gel to dry.
It is recommended to use the gel for at least 60-90 days. Big and aged scars might require a longer course of treatment. Further gel application is recommended if after the first 90 days the scar appearance continues to improve.
The drying time of Kelo-Cote gel depends on the temperature difference between the gel and the skin. To reduce drying time in hot climates, store Kelo-Cote in the refrigerator. To shorten the drying time of the gel in cold weather, you can use a hair dryer (medium temperature level).
