Pharmacodynamics
.br>Direct anticoagulant, has anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative, antiedematous and analgesic effects. Reduces platelet aggregation, binds to antithrombin III, preventing the transition of prothrombin to thrombin. Inhibits the activity of thrombin. Reduces the activity of hyaluronidase, increases the fibrinolytic properties of blood. It improves microcirculation and activates tissue exchange, thus accelerating resorption processes of hematomas and thromboses, and finally restores venous patency, clinically it is accompanied by a pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.< br>
Pharmacokinetics
A small amount of heparin is absorbed from the skin surface into the systemic bloodstream. The maximum concentration of the active substance in the blood is observed 8 hours after application. Heparin excretion mainly occurs through the kidneys, the half-life is 12 hours.

Sprains and strains, Thrombophlebitis, Inflammation of tendons, Hematomas, Swelling, Weight and pain in the legs, Swelling after injuries and operations, Varicose – Thrombophlebitis of superficial veins;
– localized infiltrates and swellings of soft tissues;

100 g of gel contains:
active ingredient:
heparin sodium in terms of dry matter – 0.83 g (100000 ME);
excipients:
methylparahyde-roxybenzoate – 0.15 g,
carbomer 940 – 1.25 g,
tromethamol – 0,85 g,
ethanol 96 % (rectified ethyl alcohol) – 24 g,
lavanol
Lavender oil – 0,02 g,
Orange blossom oil (Neroli oil) – 0,01 g,
Purified water – up to 100 g.
water – up to 100 gr.
How to take, the dosage
Outwardly.
The gel is applied in a thin layer to the affected area at the rate of 3-5 cm of gel per 3-5 cm of skin diameter and gently rubbed into the skin. It is applied 1 to 3 times a day every day until the disappearance of inflammatory phenomena, on average 3 to 7 days. Duration of treatment is determined by the doctor.
Interaction
It is not recommended to mix with other drugs for external use. Do not use topically simultaneously with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, tetracyclines, antihistamines.
The combined use of the gel with oral anticoagulants may cause prolongation of prothrombin time.
Special Instructions
It is not recommended to use in case of bleeding, as well as on open wounds, mucous membranes and in the presence of local purulent processes.
Use with extreme caution in case of increased vascular permeability.
Application of the gel is not recommended in case of deep venous thrombosis.
Contraindications
– Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug,
– ulcerative and necrotic skin changes in the areas where the gel is supposed to be applied,
Side effects
– Skin allergic reactions,
– skin hyperemia.
Overdose
Overdose is unlikely due to the low absorbability of the gel components. It is manifested by bleeding. It is relieved by protamine sulfate (chemical antagonist).
