Composition

Hawthorn fruits.

Hawthorn berries contain flavonoids,

triterpene saponins,

Vitamin C,

carotenoids and other biologically active substances.

How to take, the dosage

1 filter bag (3 g) was placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes, occasionally pressing down on the bag with a spoon, then squeeze it.

The volume of the resulting infusion bring boiled water to 100 ml.

Take orally 1/2 cup 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before a meal. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.

It is recommended to shake the infusion before drinking.

Interaction

When combined with cardiac glycosides the cardiotonic effect is enhanced;

with beta-adrenoblockers the hypotensive effect is enhanced.

Special Instructions

Hypertension should be monitored during treatment.

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy (I trimester), children under 12 years of age.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

In prolonged use of the drug in high doses drowsiness, decreased blood pressure and bradycardia are possible.
