The Grosshertz dietary supplement contains three components in a single tablet:

• Vitamin D3 helps calcium be better absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and enter the bloodstream;
• Vitamin K2 ensures that calcium enters the bones and teeth;
• Calcium makes bones and teeth healthy and strong. The product contains calcium in the form of carbonate and contains 40% of elemental calcium.

Additionally the supplement contains vitamin D3 (D3 – active form of vitamin D). It promotes proper calcium assimilation, inhibits its washout from bones and regulates phosphorus exchange, regulates the formation of bone skeleton and teeth, and helps to preserve bone structure.

Vitamin K2, namely its form menaquinone-7, is most effective in the absorption of calcium. Vitamin K2 is responsible for the transportation of calcium from the blood to bone tissue: it activates a special protein, osteocalcin, which plays a critical role in the process of building bones and teeth. Vitamin K2 is also essential for clearing blood vessels. It affects MGP (Matrix Gla Protein) by making it active. This substance removes calcium crystals from the blood vessels, which are deposited on their walls. Thus vitamin K2 cleans the walls of blood vessels and sends calcium to its “destination” – the bone tissue.
