Pharmic action:

Grammidin with anesthetic neo is a combination drug for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the throat and oral cavity. The drug contains antimicrobial agent Gramicidin C, local anesthetic (analgesic) agent – oxybuprocaine and antiseptic agent – cetylpyridinium chloride.

The mechanism of action of Gramicidin C is connected with increase of permeability of cytoplasmic membrane of the microbial cell, which breaks its resistance and causes cell death.
Gramicidin C has pronounced antimicrobial action against infectious agents of oral cavity and throat.

The anesthetic oxybuprocaine has a local anesthetic effect on the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. Causes a reversible blockade of the propagation and conduction of nerve impulses through the axons of nerve cells.

Cetylpyridinium chloride refers to antiseptic agents. It suppresses the growth and reproduction of pathogens of infectious diseases of the oral cavity. The product has analgesic effect, reduces inflammation, has antimicrobial effect, alleviates discomfort in the throat, facilitates swallowing, upon resorption causes hyper-salivation which facilitates mechanical cleansing of the oral cavity and throat from microorganisms.

Angina, Periodontitis, Pharyngitis, Oral inflammation, Tonsillitis, Sore throat, Stomatitis

Infectious inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat accompanied by severe pain syndrome:

• acute pharyngitis,
• tonsillitis,

• stomatitis.

Composition

One tablet contains:

Active ingredients.

Gramicidin C dihydrochloride – 3.20 mg (in terms of Gramicidin C – 3.00 mg);
Oxybuprocaine hydrochloride – 0.20 mg;<br
cetylpyridinium chloride monohydrate – 1.05 mg (in terms of cetylpyridinium chloride – 1.00 mg);

Excipients:

colloidal silica, talc, acesulfame potassium, mint flavoring, sorbitol, magnesium stearate

How to take, the dosage

It is used after a meal, by chewing in the mouth without chewing.

Do not eat or drink immediately after using the drug for 1-2 hours.

Dosage for adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet 3-4 times daily.

Dosage for children from 4 to 12 years: 1 tablet 1-2 times a day.

If there is no therapeutic effect within 7 days of taking the drug, it is recommended to see a doctor.

Interaction

Grammidin® with anesthetic neo enhances the effects of other antimicrobial agents of local and systemic action.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, period of lactation.

Cautious use during pregnancy.

Side effects

During the use of the drug, due to its anesthetic effect, there may be a temporary loss of sensitivity of the tongue.

In some cases, allergic reactions to the components of the drug may occur.

Pregnancy use

It is not recommended to use the drug during pregnancy (I) trimester. Breast-feeding should be stopped while taking the drug.
