Composition

One tablet contains:
active ingredients:
Gramicidin C dihydrochloride – 1.60 mg (in terms of Gramicidin C – 1.50 mg);
cetylpyridinium chloride monohydrate – 1.05 mg (in terms of cetylpyridinium chloride – 1.00 mg);
excipients:
colloidal silica -5.00 mg, talc -60.00 mg, citric acid monohydrate -36.00 mg, aspartame -12.00 mg, raspberry flavoring -3.60 mg, sorbitol -1055.75 mg, magnesium stearate -25.00 mg.

How to take, the dosage

Topically. It is used after a meal, by chewing in the mouth, without chewing. Immediately after using the drug, refrain from eating and drinking for 1-2 hours.

Dosage for children from 4 to 12 years: 1 tablet 4 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 4 tablets.

Dosage for children over 12 years of age and adults: 2 tablets (one after the other for 20-30 minutes) 4 times daily. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets. If there is no therapeutic effect within 7 days of taking the drug, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Interaction

There are currently no cases of clinically significant interactions with other drugs described.

Special Instructions

Grammidine for children should not be taken in the presence of open wounds in the mouth, because cetylpyridinium chloride slows wound healing.

Influence on driving and operating machinery

The drug does not affect potentially dangerous activities requiring particular attention and quick reactions (driving a car and other vehicles, operating moving machinery, operation of controllers and operators, etc.).

Contraindications

– Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug;

– phenylketonuria (the drug contains aspartame);

– lactation period;

– childhood under 4 years.

Side effects

Allergic reactions to components of the drug, gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, diarrhea) are possible.

Overdose

Symptoms: Ingestion of the drug in doses higher than recommended may cause gastrointestinal disorders due to changes in bacterial microflora: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Treatment: The drug should be stopped and a doctor should be consulted.
