The drug contains antimicrobial agent Gramicidin C and antiseptic agent – cetylpyridinium chloride.

The mechanism of action of Gramicidin C is connected with increase of permeability of cytoplasmic membrane of the microbial cell that violates its resistance and causes its death.

Gramicidin C has antibacterial action against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms. Cetylpyridinium chloride belongs to antiseptic agents, inhibits growth and reproduction of pathogens of infectious diseases of the mouth and throat.

The drug has antimicrobial effect, reduces inflammation, eases throat discomfort and facilitates swallowing.

Gramicidin C dihydrochloride 0.0638 mg, corresponding to 0.03 mg of gramicidin C, cetylpyridinium chloride 0.1 mg
