Hedelix is a remedy of plant origin.
It has anti-inflammatory, wound healing, antioxidant effect.
The saponins exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activity.
The triterpenoids alpha-hederin, hederosaponins have antispasmodic, mucolytic and expectorant action.
Flavonoids (rutin, kaempferol derivatives) improve microcirculation, exhibit hepato- and nephroprotective properties, increase diuresis, and promotes the removal of uric acid salts.
Indications
For infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and bronchi, accompanied by a cough with difficult to separate sputum.
Pharmacological effect
Gedelix is a herbal product.

Special instructions
If there is no therapeutic effect while taking the drug for 4-5 days or the patient’s condition worsens (the appearance of attacks of suffocation, purulent sputum, fever), you should immediately consult a doctor.
For patients with diabetes: Since Gedelix® does not contain sugar, it can be used by patients with diabetes. 1 scoop (5 ml) contains 1.75 g of sorbitol (corresponds to 0.44 g of fructose), which corresponds to 0.15 XE.
Impact on the ability to drive a car or perform work that requires increased speed of physical and mental reactions. The use of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Pregnancy
Gedelix® syrup is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Contraindications
Severe diseases of the cardiovascular system, thyroid dysfunction, hypersensitivity.
Side Effects
Possible: allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
In rare cases: pain in the epigastric region.
If any of the side effects indicated in the instructions get worse or any other side effects not listed in the instructions appear, you should inform your doctor.
Interaction
The drug should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs, because this makes it difficult to clear liquefied sputum.
Overdose
Symptoms: possible nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.
