Biological properties
Florin® forte restores the normal microflora of the human body, inhibits the activity of pathogens of infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and upper respiratory tract due to the living probiotic bacteria included in the preparation: Bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium bifidum), sorbed in the form of microcolonies, and Lactobacillus plantarum.

The combined action of bifidobacteria and lactobacteria sorbed on activated carbon in the form of microcolumns provides accelerated normalization of the quantitative and qualitative composition, metabolic and functional activity of the microflora, increases suppressive action against pathogens of acute intestinal infections, acute respiratory viral infections and their removal from the body, increases non-specific resistance.
Bifidobacteria contained in the preparation have antimicrobial action due to antagonistic activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, immunomodulatory action – they stimulate synthesis of immunoglobulins, interferons, cytokines, take part in forming local immunity, enhance mucous membrane reparation and near wall digestion, produce enzymes, short-chain fatty acids and lactic acid. Bifidobacteria are biosorbents; they neutralize toxins, accumulate toxic substances and remove them from the body.

Lactobacteria inhibit the growth of pathogens through the production of lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, lysozyme, are involved in the metabolism of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, nucleic and bile acids, activate the immune system, prevent the formation of prolonged forms of intestinal diseases by increasing the overall resistance of the body. Lactobacillus has hypocholesterolemic effect, reduces redox potential, and binds oxygen radicals that are harmful to bifidobacteria.
Lactobacillus and bifidobacteria have strong suppressive effect against rotavirus and hemolytic Escherichia coli, produce antibiotic-like substances – bacteriocins, are involved in the synthesis of vitamins, use lactose during life as the main source of nutrition.

Indications

– Diseases accompanied by abnormal intestinal microflora deficiency of bifidobacteria, lactobacilli or normal intestinal bacilli.-Illnesses accompanied by disturbances of the normal intestinal microflora with a deficiency of bifidobacteria, lactobacilli or normal intestinal bacilli,
acute intestinal infections caused by rotaviruses and / or conditionally pathogenic microfloraacute intestinal infections of undetermined etiology,
acute respiratory diseases of both viral and microbial origin,
-Chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), including those with detected hemolytic E. coli and conditionally pathogenic microorganism associations in high titers,
-establishment of intestinal normoflora in the period of recuperation after the disease,
dysbacteriosis of various etiology.

-at least 50 million colony-forming units (5 x 107 CFU), lactobacteria – at least 50 million colony-forming units (5 x 107 CFU), ancillary substance: lactose monohydrate – 0.85 g.

How to take, the dosage

The drug is intended to be used in adults and children from the first days of life (including premature babies).
Adults: 2 bags 3 times a day for adults.
In children under 6 months: 1 bag 2 times a day.
In children from 6 months to 3 years: 1 bag 3 times a day.
In children from 3 years and older: 1 bag 3 – 4 times a day. Course of treatment:
– in diseases accompanied by a violation of normal intestinal microflora 10 – 15 days,
– in acute intestinal infections 5 – 7 days,
– in acute respiratory diseases 5 – 10 days,
