The vitamin-mineral complex is designed to fill the physiological need for vitamins and minerals and is balanced with regard to daily requirements. Compatibility of the components in 1 tablet is provided by special for vitamin preparations production technology.

Vitamin A (retinol) is involved in the formation of visual pigments, is necessary for twilight and color vision, ensures the integrity of epithelial tissues and regulates the growth of bone.

Vitamin B ₁ (thiamine) as a coenzyme is involved in carbohydrate metabolism, nervous system function.

Vitamin B₂ (riboflavin) is an essential catalyst of cellular respiration and visual processes.

Vitamin B₆ (pyridoxine) as a coenzyme is involved in protein metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis.

Vitamin B₁₂ (cyanocobalamin) participates in the synthesis of nucleotides, is an important factor in normal growth, hematopoiesis and epithelial cell development; it is necessary for folic acid metabolism and myelin synthesis.

Nicotinamide is involved in the processes of tissue respiration, fat and carbohydrate metabolism.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) ensures the synthesis of collagen; participates in the formation and maintenance of structure and function of cartilage, bones, teeth; affects the formation of hemoglobin, red blood cell maturation.

Rutin (rutoside) is involved in redox processes, has antioxidant properties, prevents oxidation and promotes the deposition of ascorbic acid in the tissues.

Calcium pantothenate as a component of coenzyme A plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation and promotes the building and regeneration of epithelium and endothelium.

Folic acid is involved in the synthesis of amino acids, nucleotides, nucleic acids; it is necessary for normal erythropoiesis.

Lipoic acid is involved in the regulation of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, has a lipotropic effect, affects cholesterol metabolism, improves liver function.

Vitamin E (α-Tocopherol acetate) has antioxidant properties, maintains the stability of red blood cells, prevents hemolysis, has a positive effect on the function of gonads, nervous and muscle tissue.

The iron is involved in erythropoiesis, as part of hemoglobin provides oxygen transport to tissues.

Copper prevents the development of iron deficiency anemia and oxygen starvation of organs and tissues, and contributes to the prevention of osteoporosis. Increases strength and elasticity of blood vessels by acting on the proteins of connective tissue.

Calcium is necessary for bone formation, blood coagulation, nerve impulse transmission, contraction of skeletal and smooth muscles and normal functioning of the myocardium.

How to take, the dosage

Comlivit take orally after meals.

For the prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiencies – 1 tablet once a day. With conditions accompanied by increased need for vitamins and minerals – 1 tablet 2 times a day.

The duration of the course is determined individually. (Usually one month). Repeated courses – on the recommendation of the doctor.

Interaction

Iron and calcium inhibit absorption in the intestine of antibiotics from the group of tetracyclines and fluoroquinolone derivatives. Concomitant use of vitamin C and sulfonamide short-acting drugs increases the risk of crystalluria.

Antacids containing aluminum, magnesium, calcium, as well as colestyramine reduce iron absorption. Ascorbic acid increases absorption of drugs of penicillin group, iron.

In concomitant administration of diuretics from thiazide group the possibility of hypercalcemia increases.

Vitamin B6 decreases levodopa activity in patients with parkinsonism.

Special Instructions

The possible staining of the urine in bright yellow color is absolutely harmless and is explained by the presence of riboflavin in the drug.

It is not recommended to use Complivit® simultaneously with other preparations containing vitamins and minerals.

Impact on ability to drive vehicles, machinery

The drug does not have any negative effect on the ability to drive vehicles and perform other potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Overdose

In case of overdose a doctor should be consulted.
