Clenzit-S, gel 30 g

Klenzit C Gel is a combination medicine for the treatment of acne (acne), topical application. The active ingredients are Adapalene and Clindamycin.

The retinoid derivative, Adapalene, has anti-inflammatory and comedolytic activity. It has an effect on open and closed comedones and helps normalize the processes of epidermal differentiation and keratinization.

The drug reduces the moment of binding of follicular epithelium cells which contribute to formation of microcomedones and also inhibits chemokinetic reactions and chemotaxis of polynuclear cells.

The antimicrobial agent clindamycin belongs to the group of lincosamides and has bacteriostatic activity against many microorganisms. Clindamycin binds to 50S subunit of ribosomal membranes and inhibits protein replication in the bacterial cell.

It also has a bactericidal effect against some Gram-positive cocci.

In therapy with Clenzit C patients with acne decrease the intensity of inflammation, acne reduction and decrease of comedones and overall improvement of facial skin condition.

In connection with external use of Clensit C, its systemic absorption is insignificant.

Acne (acne disease) treatment.

Composition

Active substances:

Adapalen (micronized) 1 mg;

Clindamycin (as phosphate) 10 mg.

Auxiliary substances:

Dinatrium edetate;

Carbomer 940 (carbopol 940);

Propylene glycol;

Methyl parahydroxybenzoate;

Phenoxyethanol;

Poloxamer 407;

Sodium hydroxide;

Purified water.

How to take, the dosage

Externally, the skin should be cleaned and dried before applying the gel.

With a light touch, apply the gel evenly to the affected surface once a day before bedtime, avoiding getting the gel in the eyes and on the lips and other mucous membranes.

The course of treatment is from 2 to 4 weeks.

Repeated course of treatment – after consultation with the doctor.

Special Instructions

In the initial stages of treatment, there may be an aggravation of acne, which disappears in the course of treatment.

If skin irritation occurs, stop using the gel (temporarily or permanently). Avoid sun exposure and the use of artificial UV radiation (tanning beds).

If prolonged exposure to the sun is necessary, do not apply the gel the day before and the day after sun exposure.

Do not use cosmetic products with a drying or irritating effect at the same time (e.g., cologne or ethanol-containing products). It is not appropriate to use the gel on damaged skin or burns.

Contraindications

With caution use in eczema and dermatitis.
