Candiderm is an anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antibacterial, antifungal agent.
Clotrimazole has antifungal effect by disrupting the synthesis of ergosterol, which is a part of the cell membrane of fungi. It is active against; Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis, Candida albicans, Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum orbiculare).
Beclomethasone has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exudative and antipruritic effects.
Inhibits leukocyte accumulation, release of lysosomal enzymes and inflammatory mediators, inhibits phagocytosis, reduces vascular and tissue permeability, prevents formation of inflammatory edema.
Gentamicin – broad spectrum antibiotic of aminoglycoside group, has bactericidal effect against Gram-negative bacteria – Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Gram-positive bacteria: Streptococcus spp, Staphylococcus aureus.

Beclometasone dipropionate – 0.25 mg
Gentamicin sulfate, which is equivalent to gentamicin-1 mg

How to take, the dosage
Externally. The cream is applied thinly to the affected areas of the skin twice a day (morning and evening).
The duration of treatment depends on the effectiveness and tolerability of the therapy and is usually 2-4 weeks (at most).
In children (7-16 years of age) the drug is prescribed only under the prescription and under medical supervision.
Side effects Burning sensation, hyperemia, erythema, flaking, edema, dryness, maceration and atrophy of the skin; stricture, hypertrichosis, folliculitis, sweat, urticaria, steroid acne, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, telangiectasia, hypopigmentation, pyoderma, furunculosis.
Long-term use may cause systemic side effects including inhibition of adrenal cortical function.
Interaction
Interaction of the drug with other medicines has not been revealed.
Special Instructions
The drug is not used in ophthalmology.
Do not apply to the skin in the eye area.
In order to increase the effectiveness of therapy, occlusive dressings may be used.
Please note that this increases transdermal absorption of beclomethasone and gentamicin, which leads to an increased risk of systemic side effects.
If resistant bacterial or fungal microflora occur, the drug should be discontinued and appropriate therapy should be prescribed.
The development of cross-resistance with aminoglycoside antibiotics is possible.
Contraindications
Overdose
If the recommended doses are exceeded, symptoms of hypercorticism may develop: weight gain, edema formation, hyperthesia, glucosuria, hypokalemia.
Treatment: symptomatic therapy, correction of electrolyte balance if necessary. Gradual withdrawal of the drug is recommended.
Pregnancy use
In children, the drug is prescribed only under strict indications and under medical supervision, since the development of systemic side effects associated with beclomethasone is possible.
When the drug is used on large surfaces and/or under occlusive dressings, suppression of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system function and development of hypercorticism symptoms may occur, reduction of growth hormone excretion and increased intracranial pressure may be observed.
