Boric acid is an antiseptic agent, also has insecticidal (including antipediculosis) effect. It coagulates proteins (including enzyme proteins) of microbial cell, breaks cell membrane permeability. 5% aqueous solution inhibits phagocytosis processes, 2 4% solution inhibits bacterial growth and development.

It has an irritating effect on mucous membranes, granulation tissues. Upon absorption it has systemic toxic effects.

Pharmacokinetics

It penetrates well through skin and mucous membranes; it is slowly excreted and may accumulate in organs and tissues. Excreted by the kidneys In 50% (within 12 hours), the remainder within 5-7 days.

Indications

The disinfectant is intended for disinfection of indoor surfaces, hard furniture, sanitary equipment, devices (metal, rubber, plastic, glass). Processing is carried out in the absence of people, pets, in medical and children’s organizations, in the absence of patients and children; After treatment, the product is removed from surfaces that a person may come into contact with, but left for a long time in other places.

Special instructions

Precautions:
Use carefully and only as directed. When working with the product, avoid inhalation, contact with skin and eyes. All work with the product and its working solution should be carried out with the skin of the hands protected with rubber gloves, eyes with goggles, and respiratory organs with respirators. The treatment should be carried out with open vents (windows) in the absence of strangers, pets and birds. Persons suffering from allergic diseases and highly sensitive to drugs or chemicals should use the product with caution. Do not use after expiration date.

First aid measures:
In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse them thoroughly with running water and drip 1-2 drops of 20% or 30% sodium sulfacyl solution. If the product accidentally gets into the stomach, rinse the stomach with plenty of water. Then take activated carbon (10-12 crushed tablets). If necessary, consult a doctor. If the product gets on damaged areas of the skin, rinse them with warm water. If your skin becomes irritated, wash your hands with soap and water.
