Sodium and chlorine ions are the most important inorganic components of extracellular fluid, maintaining the appropriate osmotic pressure of blood plasma and extracellular fluid.

Isotonic solution replenishes fluid deficits in the body during dehydration.

Hypertensive sodium chloride solution when administered by IV provides correction of the osmotic pressure of extracellular fluid and blood plasma.

When used topically in ophthalmology sodium chloride has an anti-edema effect.

Indications

For the prevention of: nasal infections in the fall and winter; sinusitis, including maxillitis; increased nasal mucous membrane dryness; after nasal surgery.

Therapeutically: in the treatment of acute and chronic rhinitis, including allergic rhinitis.

For hygiene purposes: for care of the nasal mucosa in adults and children; for gentle cleaning of the nasal cavity from mucus and crusts.

How to take, the dosage

Intranasally.

In children use one spray in each nasal passage, adults – two sprays in each nasal passage 3-4 times a day. The course of prevention and treatment is 2-4 weeks (at the discretion of the doctor).

For softening and removal of soiling accumulations and nasal secretions: AquaMaster is sprayed into each nostril as much as the situation requires, eliminating the excess fluid flowing with absorbent cotton or a nasal handkerchief.

The procedure can be repeated many times until the accumulation of contaminating particles is successfully softened and removed.

For the spray in the bottle, sealed with the cap and fitted with the individually wrapped sprayhead

Interaction

No clinically significant interaction of the drug AquaMaster with other drugs was found.

Possible use with other drugs for intranasal administration.

In this case the nasal cavity is irrigated with AquaMaster first.

Special Instructions

AquaMaster at the recommended doses has no effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery.

Contraindications

Hypernatremia, conditions of hyperhydration, threat of pulmonary edema, brain edema.

Side effects

To date it has not been established.

Pregnancy use

There are no data on the limitation of use in pregnancy and lactation.
