Aqua Maris Ectoin spray, 20 ml

The nasal spray Aqua Maris® Ectoin is an all-natural product that creates a physical barrier (“barrier”) for allergens to attach to the nasal mucosa.

Aqua Maris® Ectoin protects against the development of allergies, prevents the development of allergic rhinitis and promotes the restoration of nasal mucous membrane damaged by allergens.

Indications

Protect the nasal mucosa from exposure: – pollen (during the seasonal flowering of plants);

– household allergens (house dust mites);

– animal hair;

– allergens of cockroaches and other insects;

– fungal allergens;

– allergens from household chemicals as well as other foreign particles that enter the nasal cavity when breathing.

The symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis to reduce the severity of itching, sneezing, runny nose, lacrimation and nasal congestion.

Composition

Ectoin – 2 g,

Marine salt – 0.9 g,

Purified water up to 100 ml.

Does not contain preservatives.

How to take, the dosage

Intranasally.

In children from 2 years of age and adults, 1-2 injections into each nostril 3-4 times a day.

If necessary, the drug can be used as often as needed to achieve the desired effect.

Children under 10 years of age should only use the spray under adult supervision.

Special Instructions

For maximum preventive effect, Aqva Maris® Ectoin nasal spray should be used 10-15 minutes before contact with the suspected allergen or other irritant.

Ectoin Aqua Maris® nasal spray should be used systematically throughout the period of active blooming and dusting of allergy causing plants.

It is recommended to reapply Aqua Maris® Ectoin Nasal Spray after each cleaning (blowing or rinsing) of the nasal cavity.

Synopsis

The Aqua Maris® Ectoin nasal spray contains a combination of ectoin and isotonic sea salt solution. Ectoine is a component which in natural conditions is produced by halophilic microorganisms that are able to exist in extremely adverse environmental conditions.

Owing to its high hydrophilicity (affinity for water molecules), ectoin forms strong clusters with them forming an imperceptible protective “ectoin hydrocomplex” on the surface of the nasal mucosa.

This complex prevents contact of allergens with nasal mucosa cells protecting from allergic reactions and reducing symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Allergens are fixed on the surface of the hydrocomplex and may be effectively removed from the nasal cavity by washing or swabbing.

The solution of natural sea salt contained in Aqua Maris® Ectoin helps mechanical removal of allergens from the surface of the nasal mucosa and cleanses its surface from settled street and house dust.

Micronutrients and minerals of sea salt improve the function of the epithelium and have an anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect on the nasal mucosa.

Isotonic solution of natural sea salt promotes the mechanical removal of allergens from the surface of the nasal mucosa and cleans the surface of the mucosa from settled on it street and house dusts.

Micronutrients and minerals of natural sea salt improve the function of the atrial epithelium and have anti-inflammatory and regenerating effect on the nasal mucosa.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Children under 2 years of age.

Does not affect the reaction rate when driving motor transport and working with other mechanisms.

No contraindications for use in pregnant and lactating women.
