Indications
Prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (stomatitis, gingivitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, periodontal disease, initial stage of tonsillitis, condition after tonsillectomy or tooth extraction, etc.).
Pharmacological effect

Special instructions
It is not recommended to use simultaneously with drugs for the treatment of the oral cavity and pharynx containing iodine (Lugol’s solution, povidone-iodine).
Ascorbic acid, which is part of the drug, may change the results of some laboratory tests, which should be reported when conducting tests.

Contraindications
children under 5 years of age;
I trimester of pregnancy.
hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
WITH CAUTION: in the II and III trimesters of pregnancy as prescribed by a doctor, lactation, diabetes mellitus, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, hemochromatosis, sideroblastic anemia, thalassemia, hyperoxaluria, oxalosis and kidney stones.
Side Effects
Heavy consumption may cause damage to tooth enamel.
Allergic reactions.
Interaction
Ascorbic acid increases the blood concentration of benzylpenicillin and tetracyclines, increases the risk of developing crystalluria during treatment with salicylates and short-acting sulfonamides, and reduces the blood concentration of oral contraceptives.
Tetracaine reduces the antibacterial activity of sulfonamide drugs.
Vasoconstrictors prolong the effect and reduce the toxicity of tetracaine.
Overdose
Overdose symptoms:
dizziness, general weakness, cyanosis, agitation, anxiety, muscle tremors, respiratory failure, nausea, vomiting.
Treatment:
gastric lavage, administration of saline laxatives; symptomatic therapy.
