Tetracaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic, quickly and for a long time relieves pain in the throat.

Chlorhexidine diacetate is a local antiseptic that destroys all known pathogens of inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) stimulates local immunity and promotes regeneration of the mucosa of the mouth and throat.

Indications

Prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat (stomatitis, gingivitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, periodontal disease, the initial stage of angina, conditions after tonsillectomy or tooth extraction, etc.).

Active ingredient

How to take, the dosage

Topically. Keep in the mouth until completely resorbed.

Adults and children from 15 years: 6 tablets a day with an interval of 2 hours.

Children from 5 to 10 years: 3 tablets a day at 4-hour intervals.

Children 10 to 15 years of age: 4 tablets a day at 3-hour intervals.

Interaction

Ascorbic acid increases the blood concentration of benzylpenicillin and tetracyclines, increases the risk of crystalluria during treatment with salicylates and short-acting sulfonamides, reduces the blood concentration of oral contraceptives.

Tetracaine reduces the antibacterial activity of sulfonamide drugs.

Vasoconstrictors prolong the effect and reduce the toxicity of tetracaine.

Special Instructions

It is not recommended to use simultaneously with the oral and pharyngeal preparations containing iodine (Lugol solution, povidone-iodine).

Ascorbic acid contained in the drug may change the results of some laboratory tests, which should be reported when testing.

Contraindications

WARNING: in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy by prescription, lactation period, diabetes mellitus, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, hemochromatosis, sideroblast anemia, thalassemia, hyperoxaluria, oxalosis and renal stone disease.

Side effects

Intense consumption can cause damage to tooth enamel.

Symptoms of overdose:

dizziness, general weakness, cyanosis, agitation, restlessness, muscle tremor, respiratory disorders, nausea, vomiting.

Treatment:

Gastric lavage, prescription of saline laxatives; symptomatic therapy.
