The Anti-Angin Formula is a local anesthetic, antifungal, antibacterial.
Pharmacodynamics
The antibacterial action of chlorhexidine is due to non-specific binding with phospholipids of bacterial cell membranes. Chlorhexidine may have bactericidal and bacteriostatic action, mainly against Gram-positive bacteria and Candida albicans, and to a lesser extent against Gram-negative bacteria.
Chlorhexidine is particularly active against Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus salivarius, Escherichia coli, Selenomonas spp. and anaerobic bacteria. The drug is significantly less effective against such types of microorganisms as Streptococcus sanguis, Proteus, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella veillonella.
The anesthetic tetracaine has a local anesthetic effect.
Ascorbic acid is a cofactor in the synthesis of collagen and tissue regeneration, increases immune responses and reduces capillary permeability, thus helping to reduce inflammation and swelling of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.
Indications
Prevention, etiotropic and symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx caused by microorganisms sensitive to chlorhexidine (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, the initial stage of tonsillitis, periodontal disease, stomatitis, gingivitis, condition after tonsillectomy or tooth extraction, etc.); complex therapy for sore throat (use at the first signs of the disease – sore throat and sore throat).
Pharmacological effect
Anti-Angin Formula – local anesthetic, antifungal, antibacterial.

Special instructions
It is not recommended to use simultaneously with drugs for the treatment of the oral cavity and pharynx containing iodine (Lugol’s solution, povidone-iodine). Ascorbic acid, which is part of the drug, may change the results of some laboratory tests, which should be reported when conducting tests.
Active ingredient
Tetracaine, Chlorhexidine, Ascorbic acid
Composition
1 dose of spray contains:
Active ingredients:
chlorhexidine bigluconate;
tetracaine hydrochloride;
Excipients:
glycerol 85%,
ethanol 96%,
aspartame,
mint flavor,
propyl parahydroxybenzoate,
anhydrous citric acid,

Side Effects
Allergic reactions.
Interaction
Tetracaine reduces the antibacterial activity of sulfonamide drugs. Vasoconstrictors prolong the effect and reduce the toxicity of tetracaine.
Ascorbic acid increases the blood concentration of benzylpenicillin and tetracyclines, increases the risk of developing crystalluria during treatment with salicylates and short-acting sulfonamides, and reduces the blood concentration of oral contraceptives.
Overdose
Symptoms: dizziness, general weakness, cyanosis, agitation, anxiety, muscle tremors, breathing problems, nausea, vomiting.
Treatment: gastric lavage, administration of saline laxatives; symptomatic therapy.
