As a photosensitizer in combination with UVA:

Indications

As a photosensitizing agent in combination with UV irradiation:

mycosis fungoides;
psoriasis.

Pharmacological effect

Photosensitizing agent.

Special instructions

For skin depigmentation (leukoderma) associated with the destruction of melanocytes, it is ineffective.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity;
acute gastritis;
peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum;
pancreatitis;
hepatitis;
cirrhosis;
nephritis;
diabetes mellitus;
cachexia;
arterial hypertension;
decompensated endocrine diseases;
thyrotoxicosis;
tuberculosis;
blood diseases;
chronic heart failure;
malignant and benign tumors;
pregnancy;
lactation period;
cataract;
multiple pigmented nevi.

With caution – children (under 5 years), old age (over 60 years).

Side Effects

Headache, dizziness, palpitations, cardialgia, dyspepsia, nausea, gastralgia.

Interaction

The drug enhances the effect of other photosensitizers (including photosensitizing foods and cosmetics).
This therapy can be carried out against the background of generally accepted drug treatment, including the use of penicillin, lidase, vascular drugs, and external agents.

Overdose

An overdose of solar and artificial UV radiation may cause acute dermatitis (erythema, swelling, possible blisters). In this case, use should be discontinued until the symptoms of dermatitis resolve.
Treatment: symptomatic.

Storage conditions

Store unopened in a dry, dark place at room temperature.
