🐾 ASD-2F fraction, 100 ml

When administered orally ASD-2F has an activating effect on CNS and vegetative nervous system, stimulates motor activity of gastrointestinal tract, secretion of digestive glands, increases activity of digestive and tissue enzymes, improves penetration of Na+ and K+ ions through cell membranes, normalizes digestion processes, nutrients assimilation and increases natural resistance. When applied externally the drug stimulates reticuloendothelial system activity, normalizes trophic and accelerates regeneration of damaged tissues, has a pronounced antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications

ASD-2F is prescribed for farm animals (including poultry) and dogs, for therapeutic and preventive purposes in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory organs, urogenital system, lesions of the skin, metabolic disorders, for stimulation of central and vegetative nervous system activity, increasing of natural resistance in animals weakened and diseased with infectious and parasitic diseases; also for stimulation of growth and development of piglets, chickens and increase in laying hens.

Composition

Directions for use

On the body ASD-2F is administered to animals with drinking water before feeding or mixed with mixed fodder in the morning feeding.

Outwardly ASD-2F is used in the form of 2-20% solutions prepared on sterile physiological solution or boiled water. When preparing a therapeutic solution of the required concentration, the initial sterile solution of ASD-2F is taken as 100%. The therapeutic solution is prepared under aseptic conditions.

In dyspepsia, gastroenterocolitis, gastroenteritis as well as dystrophic conditions caused by digestive disorders and metabolic disorders, the drug is prescribed orally once a day, in the single doses indicated in the table. The treatment shall be carried out in courses of 5 days at 2-3 day intervals until the animal’s recovery.

In case of tympany in cattle the drug is given to the animal or injected into the rumen through the stomach tube once or twice a day in the single dose specified in the table. In the course of treatment warm enemas, rumen massage and other procedures prescribed for the above pathology are prescribed.

In case of flatulence in horses the drug shall be drunk by the animal or administered through the stomach tube once a day in the doses indicated in the table. In the course of treatment warm enemas, stomach massage and other procedures which are prescribed for the above mentioned pathology shall be administered. If necessary the treatment shall be repeated.

In case of catarrhal pneumonia of piglets along with etiotropic treatment the drug shall be administered once a day with drinking water 30-40 minutes before feeding or in the morning feeding with mixed fodder in doses specified in the table. Treatment shall be carried out by courses of 5 days at intervals of 2-3 days until recovery.

In case of vaginitis and retention of placenta in cows (after removal of placenta) the drug solution 3-5% warmed up to 40°C is applied and used to wash the vagina once a day for 4-5 days at the rate of 1.5-2 litres of the solution for each treatment. If the cervix is open, 200-300 ml of the solution is injected into the uterus.
