VOSCOPRAN WITH METHYLURAC Ointment for wound care has the following functions: protection from mechanical effects (pressure, impact, friction), from pollution and chemical irritation; protection from secondary infection; protection from drying and loss of physiological fluids (electrolytes); maintenance of adequate temperature. In addition to wound protection the dressing can also actively influence the healing process by cleaning the wound, creating a microclimate conducive to healing and keeping the wound at rest.
In the cleaning phase the dressing sucks out excess exudate with microorganisms and helps the physiological mechanisms of cleaning.
In the phase of granulation the dressing stimulates angiogenesis and filling of the defect with collagen fibers due to creation of moist environment.
In the phase of epithelization the dressing accelerates cell migration and cell division.
Pharmacological properties are determined by the type of drug applied to the dressing.

Indications

Wound and burn infections, superficial and deep purulent wounds, trophic ulcers, purulent wounds in osteomyelitis, postoperative wounds.

Composition

The wound dressing (wipes) Voskopran contains beeswax (96.9%), as well as propolis and vitamin E. The gauze dressings are produced in 6 sizes: 7.5x10cm, 5×7.5cm, 10x15cm, 10x50cm, 10x10cm and 10x200cm, each of which is protected on both sides by polypropylene films.

How to use

Open the package at the cut line and remove the coating with protective layers. If necessary, use scissors to cut a fragment from the coating that corresponds to the size of the wound surface. Remove one of the protective layers from the ointment coating or its fragment. Place the coating so that it protrudes by 0,5 cm beyond the edges of the wound and after 1 – 2 minutes remove the second protective layer. Place a sterile gauze napkin on the coating and fix it with a bandage.
