Sodium hyaluronate is a natural polymer that is present in human eye tissues.

The effect of VISMED® multi is related to the viscoelasticity property and the ability of sodium hyaluronate to bind and retain water.

VISMED® multi is characterized by high viscosity in the absence of blinking movement and low viscosity during blinking to ensure efficient distribution of the product on the eye surface preventing eye dryness and irritation.

Sodium Hyaluronate has an affinity to the tear mucoglycoprotein that helps increase tear film stability.

VISMED® multi, just like tear fluid, contains calcium, magnesium and potassium ions required to maintain the normal structure and function of the eye cornea.

The addition of sodium citrate to VISMED® multi helps maintain the viscoelastic properties in the presence of other ions.

The leading mechanism in the development of dry eye syndrome is tear hyperosmolarity. Due to its hypo-tonicity VISMED® multi is able to compensate hypo-rosmolarity.

VISMED® multi promotes regeneration of superficial keratitis by increasing cell migration.

Due to the unique combination of components VISMED® multi ensures prolonged corneal protection and relief of dry eye symptoms by restoring normal properties of the tear film.

Indications

Ophthalmic hydrogel VISMED® multi (VIZMED® multi) in a multi-dose dropper bottle with a volume of 10 ml is used to eliminate the feeling of “dryness” and irritation of the eyes in the presence of manifestations of “dry
syndrome

eyes” and/or damage to the anterior surface of the eye with superficial keratitis and Sjögren’s syndrome, with primary dry eye syndrome.

And also for moisturizing the surface of the eyes with complaints of a feeling of “dryness” of the eyes, a feeling of a foreign body in the eye, eye fatigue caused by wearing hard or soft contact lenses, prolonged work at the computer, being in an air-conditioned room, dust, exposure to dry air, wind or cold.

Special instructions

Avoid contact of the tip of the open container with the surface of the eye and hands.

After use, put the cap on the bottle.

After opening the bottle, the solution can be used for 3 months.

After this period, the solution should be destroyed.

Otherwise, the manufacturer does not guarantee the sterility of the solution, as the risk of infection increases.

If there is visible damage to the container, VISMED® multi should not be used.

If after instillation of VISMED® multi (VIZMED® multi) complaints of “dryness” and irritation of the eye persist, you should consult a doctor.

Does not contain preservatives.

In the innovative VISMED® multi bottle (VISMED® multi), the solution remains sterile for 3 months, despite the absence of preservatives. The bottle is equipped with a dosing system that facilitates the instillation process.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side Effects

In very rare cases, irritation of the conjunctiva, a feeling of a “foreign body” in the eye, redness or burning of the eyes, and short-term blurred vision may occur.

Interaction

It is not recommended to use VISMED® multi simultaneously with other ophthalmic agents, as this may affect their effectiveness.

Storage conditions

At room temperature not higher than 25 °C. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and heat.

Shelf life

3 years when stored in original packaging and 3 months after opening.

The expiration date is indicated on the packaging.

Do not use a product that has expired! The product is sterile!

The manufacturer guarantees the quality of the product during the entire shelf life.
