Sodium hyaluronate is a natural polymer that is present in human eye tissues.

The effect of VISMED® light is due to the viscoelasticity property and the ability of sodium hyaluronate to bind and retain water.

VISMED® light is characterized by high viscosity in the absence of blinking movement and low viscosity during blinking to ensure efficient distribution of the product on the eye surface preventing eye dryness and irritation.

Sodium Hyaluronate has an affinity to the tear mucoglycoprotein which helps to increase tear film stability.

VISMED® light as well as tear fluid contains calcium, magnesium and potassium ions required to maintain the normal structure and function of the eye cornea.

The inclusion of sodium citrate into VISMED® light composition helps maintain viscoelastic properties in the presence of other ions and prevent precipitation.

The leading mechanism in the development of dry eye syndrome is hyperosmolarity of tears and instability of the tear film.

VISMED® light is able to compensate for tear hyperosmolarity due to its hypotonicity
VISMED® light facilitates regeneration of superficial keratitis by increasing cell migration.

Indications

Ophthalmic solution VISMED® light (VIZMED® light) in a multi-dose dropper bottle with a volume of 15 ml is used to eliminate the feeling of “dryness” and irritation of the eyes in the presence of manifestations of “dry
syndrome

eyes” and/or damage to the anterior surface of the eye with superficial keratitis and Sjögren’s syndrome, with primary dry eye syndrome.

And also for moisturizing the surface of the eyes with complaints of a feeling of “dryness” of the eyes, a feeling of a “foreign body” in the eye, eye fatigue caused by wearing hard or soft contact lenses, long-term work

computer, being in an air-conditioned room, dust, exposure to dry air, wind or cold.

Special instructions

Avoid contact of the tip of the open container with the surface of the eye and hands. After opening the bottle, the solution can be used for 3 months, since the composition of VISMED® light (VISMED® light) is carefully balanced and ensures the sterility of the solution for the above-mentioned time.

After using VISMED® light, screw the cap clockwise until it stops.

Otherwise, the manufacturer does not guarantee the sterility of the solution, as the risk of infection increases. If there is visible damage to the container, do not use VISMED® light.

If after instillation of VISMED® light (VIZMED® light) complaints of “dryness” and irritation of the eye persist, you should consult your doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to one of the components of the solution.

Side Effects

In very rare cases, irritation of the conjunctiva, a feeling of a “foreign body” in the eye, redness or burning of the eyes, and short-term blurred vision may occur.

Interaction

It is not recommended to use VISMED® light simultaneously with other ophthalmic agents, as this may affect their effectiveness.

Storage conditions

Keep out of the reach of children! Store at temperatures below 25°C.

Shelf life

2 years when stored in original packaging and 3 months after opening.

The expiration date is indicated on the packaging.

Do not use a product that has expired! The product is sterile!
