Vitaprost® Forte has organotropic effect on the prostate.

It reduces the degree of edema and leucocytic infiltration of the prostate, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin granules in the atinus secretion, stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder.

It improves microcirculation in the prostate due to reduction of thrombogenesis, anti-aggregant activity, prevents development of venous thrombosis in the prostate.

Based on data of clinical trials it was proved that Vitaprost® Forte moderately decreases the prostate`s volume.

The drug reduces severity of obstructive and irritative symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia which is revealed through the increase of maximum and average volume rates of urine flow and reduction of residual urine volume.

Vitaprost® Forte improves blood microcirculation in the urinary bladder wall by dilating intact vessels (vasodilatation effect), thus restoring oxygen delivery to hypoxic tissues, which stimulates physiologic reparation.

It has anti-inflammatory effect by improving trophic processes in the bladder wall and stimulating regenerative processes.

Activation of the organ blood flow improves the adaptive and contractile activity of the detrusor and increases the bladder capacity.

The reduction of detrusor ischemia may explain the marked reduction of bladder hyperactivity, which continues after Vitaprost® Forte application.

Vitaprost® Forte helps to normalize the parameters of the prostate and ejaculate. It reduces pain and discomfort, eliminates dysuric phenomena, improves copulatory function.
