Allergies, Allergic conjunctivitis, Pollinosis, Eye redness, Conjunctivitis, Increased tear discharge, Exposure to unfavorable factors, Visual fatigue Adults and children over 2 years are prescribed to relieve conjunctival edema and hyperemia (eye redness) arising from allergies or caused by exposure to chemical and physical factors (smoke, dust, chlorinated water, light, cosmetics, contact lenses).
Prescribed for children under 6 years of age under the supervision of a physician.

1 ml of the drug contains:

tetrizoline hydrochloride – 0.50 mg;
excipients:
boric acid – 12.30 mg,
sodium chloride – 2.23 mg,
disodium edetate dihydrate – 1.00 mg,

How to take, the dosage
1 or 2 drops in the affected eye 2-3 times a day.
It is not recommended to use the drug continuously for more than four days.
Instructions for use of the dropper bottle
The drug is supplied in a package protected from accidental opening by children.
During the first use of the bottle it is required to remove the tamper-evident tape from the cap.
Press the cap of the bottle from above while simultaneously turning it counter-clockwise. Remove the cap from the dropper bottle and turn the bottle.
Do not touch any surfaces with the tip of the bottle.
After use, screw the cap of the dropper bottle.

Vizin® Classic should be used with caution in elderly patients, patients with aneurysms, hypertension and/or coronary heart disease as well as in patients with type I diabetes mellitus or hyperthyroidism.
Studies on the safety of the drug in children and adolescents have not been conducted.
The drug contains benzalkonium chloride which may irritate the eyes and change the color of soft contact lenses. Therefore it is necessary to remove the contact lenses before the drug injection and set them back in 15 minutes.
Failure to comply with the instructions for use may cause reactive flushing of conjunctiva and nasal mucosa (rhinitis medica).
If the condition does not improve within 72 hours or irritation and redness persist or increase, discontinue use and consult a physician. If there is intense eye pain, severe acute or unilateral eye redness, headache, visual disturbances, spots in front of the eyes or double vision, you should immediately consult a physician.
Long-term use of the drug may increase hyperemia or lead to its reappearance.
If the irritation or redness is caused by eye diseases (infection, foreign body or mechanical, chemical or thermal impact), it is necessary to consult a doctor before using and determine the necessity of further therapeutic measures.
Application of the drug may cause temporary dilation of the pupil.
Long-term use and overdose of the drug should be avoided.
Do not use the drug in case of color change or clouding.
If the drug has expired or has passed its expiration date – do not pour it into sewage and do not throw it on the street! Place the medication in a bag and put it in a trash container. These measures will help protect the environment!

Contraindications
“Visin® Classic” should not be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to the drug components, patients with closed-angle glaucoma and corneal endothelial-epithelial dystrophy.
Side effects
Postmarketing data
Very common (>1/10), common (>1/100, < 1/10), infrequent (>1/1000, < 1/100), rare (>1/10000, < 1/1000), very rare (< 1/10000, including individual reports), frequency unknown (frequency of occurrence cannot be estimated from available data).
Visual disturbances: pupil dilation (frequency unknown).
General disorders and disorders at the injection site: reactions at the injection site (including burning sensation in the eye area, redness, irritation, swelling, pain, itching) (frequency is unknown).
It is assumed that the frequency, type and severity of adverse reactions in children should be the same as in adults.
Overdose
When used according to the instructions, the risk of overdose is minimal.
However, if the drug accidentally enters the gastrointestinal tract (ingestion), the following symptoms of overdose are possible: dilated pupils, nausea, cyanosis, fever, seizures, tachycardia, arrhythmia, cardiac arrest, arterial hypotension, pulmonary edema, respiratory function depression, including apnea (respiratory arrest), central nervous system function depression, including development of drowsiness and coma.
The risk of overdose symptoms due to systemic effects of the drug is high in infants and young children, especially if swallowed.
A specific antidote is unknown.
Treatment of overdose after ingestion: administer activated charcoal, gastric lavage, oxygen inhalation, antipyretic drugs and anticonvulsants. Phentolamine 5 mg on saline slowly intravenously or 100 mg orally is used to reduce blood pressure. Patients with low blood pressure vasopressors are contraindicated.
If any symptoms of overdose occur, seek medical attention immediately!
Pregnancy use
There are no data on penetration of the drug through the placenta and into the breast milk.
With regard to the possibility of systemic side effects, the drug should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if, in the opinion of the physician, the expected benefits to the mother exceed the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.
