Pharmacological action

The infusion of violet herb has expectorant and anti-inflammatory effects, shows moderate choleretic and diuretic properties.

How to take, the dosage

Two filter packs (3 g) are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes, occasionally pressing down on the bags with a spoon, then they squeeze.

The volume of the resulting infusion bring boiled water to 200 ml.

Warm oral intake is 1/3-1/2 cup 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 20-25 days.

The second course of treatment can be repeated in 10-12 days after the consultation with the doctor.

We recommend to shake the infusion before drinking.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to the drug, gastritis and peptic ulcer in the period of exacerbation, cholelithiasis, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

Long use of violet herb infusion in doses exceeding the recommended ones may cause nausea, vomiting.
