Vidysik, eye gel 0.2% 10 g

Vidysik Eye Gel is a combined ophthalmic drug used to moisturize the eyes. Upon contact with the surface of the cornea high-molecular hydrophilic carbomer, which is similar in its properties to the eye fluid, forms a delicate transparent film that moistens and lubricates the surface of the eye.

The gel spreads evenly over the surface of the cornea and gradually washes away with blinking. The product protects the surface of the cornea, prevents damage to the epithelium and also stimulates healing in case of superficial damage.

Pharmacokinetics

It does not penetrate into the eye and does not accumulate in tissues.

Indications

Inadequate production of tear fluid, dry eye syndrome manifestations.

How to take, the dosage

Conjunctivally, 1 drop 3-5 times a day in the lower conjunctival sac, depending on the severity of symptoms.

Interaction

If additional topical therapy is carried out, the interval between the administration of Vidysik and other drugs should be at least 5 minutes.

Vidicic should be used last.

Special Instructions

Wearing of soft contact lenses is not recommended during treatment with Vidisic.

When using contact lenses you should remove them before injection and put them back on 15 minutes after instillation of the drug.

During treatment, it is necessary to refrain from potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.

The tube must be closed after each use. The tip of the dropper should not touch the eye.

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug Vidysik.

With caution – pregnancy, breast-feeding.

Side effects

Due to the fact that the drug contains a preservative substance (cetrimide), some patients may experience burning and eye irritation, as well as allergic reactions.

In the immediate after application of the gel there may be short-term quickly passing visual acuity impairment.
