Venolife gel is a combined drug for external use, the pharmacological properties of which are due to the action of its constituent substances.
Heparin is a direct acting anticoagulant, a natural anticoagulant, has anti-inflammatory effect, promotes regeneration of connective tissue due to inhibition of hyaluronidase activity, prevents thrombosis, activates the fibrinolytic properties of blood, improves local blood flow.
Dexpanthenol – provitamin B5 – in the skin is converted into pantothenic acid, a member of coenzyme A, which plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation, improving metabolic processes, dexpanthenol promotes the regeneration of damaged tissue, improves heparin absorption.
Troxerutin – angioprotective agent, has P-vitamin activity, in particular, reduces vascular and tissue permeability and capillary fragility, promotes normalization of microcirculation and tissue trophism, reduces congestion in the veins and paravenous tissues, has anti-inflammatory action.

100 g of the gel contain:

troxerutin 2 g,
dexpanthenol 5 g and sodium heparin 0.25 g (30,000 UD);
excipients:
phenylethyl alcohol,
propylene glycol,
carbomer 940 or 980,
tromethamol,
purified water.
How to take, the dosage
Venolife is applied in a thin layer on and around the affected area 2-3 times a day, spreading evenly over the surface of the skin with light rubbing movements until completely absorbed. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. The need for further treatment is determined by the attending physician, based on the severity of the pathological process and the results of clinical tests. In case of recurrence of the disease, the course of treatment can be carried out 2-3 times a year.
In trophic ulcers with poor exudation prior to the application of the drug the wound surface is cleansed from exudate and necrotic tissues, if necessary the solution of hydrogen peroxide 3%, furacilin 1:5000 or chlorhexidine digluconate 0.05% is washed and dried. The gel is applied in an even and thin layer so that the entire affected surface is covered with the preparation, and a sterile gauze dressing is applied. Dressings shall be changed once a day. During open treatment the drug is applied 1-2 times a day. The duration of treatment is determined by the dynamics of epithelialization.
Special Instructions
Venolife is not intended for use in ophthalmology, for intravaginal and rectal administration.
Contraindications
High sensitivity to the ingredients of Venolife; open infected wounds or wounds with abundant exudation.
Side effects
There may be local allergic reactions (skin rash, itching).
Pregnancy use
Venolife is not contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
