Venolife, gel 40 g

Venolife gel is a combined drug for external use, the pharmacological properties of which are due to the action of its constituent substances.
Heparin is a direct acting anticoagulant, a natural anticoagulant, has anti-inflammatory effect, promotes regeneration of connective tissue due to inhibition of hyaluronidase activity, prevents thrombosis, activates the fibrinolytic properties of blood, improves local blood flow.

Dexpanthenol – provitamin B5 – in the skin is converted into pantothenic acid, a member of coenzyme A, which plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation, improving metabolic processes, dexpanthenol promotes the regeneration of damaged tissue, improves heparin absorption.
Troxerutin – angioprotective agent, has P-vitamin activity, in particular, reduces vascular and tissue permeability and capillary fragility, promotes normalization of microcirculation and tissue trophism, reduces congestion in the veins and paravenous tissues, has anti-inflammatory action.

Indications

edema-pain syndrome and microcirculatory-trophic disorders caused by venous insufficiency of the lower extremities (varicose veins, acute and chronic thrombophlebitis, post-thrombophlebitis syndrome, chronic lymphostasis);
soft tissue injuries (hematomas, dislocations, sprains);
to accelerate granulation and epithelization of trophic ulcers in phase regeneration (in the absence of pronounced exudation).

Dexpanthenol – provitamin B5 – is converted in the skin into pantothenic acid, which is part of coenzyme A, which plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation; by improving metabolic processes, dexpanthenol promotes the regeneration of damaged tissues; improves the absorption of heparin.
Troxerutin is an angioprotective agent; has P-vitamin activity, in particular, it reduces vascular tissue permeability and capillary fragility, helps normalize microcirculation and tissue trophism, reduces congestion in the veins and paravenous tissues, and has an anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effect.

In addition, due to the presence of the antiseptic preservative phenylethyl alcohol, the drug has a bactericidal and fungicidal effect, helping to prevent infection of the wound surface. The composition of the gel base provides the drug with moderate hyperosmolar properties.

Special instructions

Venolife is not intended for use in ophthalmology, for intravaginal and rectal administration.

Composition

100 g of gel contain:

active ingredients:

troxerutin 2 g,

dexpanthenol 5 g and sodium heparin 0.25 g (30,000 units);

excipients:

phenylethyl alcohol,

propylene glycol,

carbomer 940 or 980,

trometamol,

purified water.

Pregnancy

Venolife is not contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug Venolife; open infected wounds or wounds with heavy exudation.

Side Effects

Local manifestations of allergic reactions (skin rash, itching) are possible.
