Veda shampoo against pediculosis, 100 ml

Antiparasitic agent, has antiparasitic, insecticidal action. Disrupts permeability of Na+-channels of insect nerve cell membranes, inhibits the process of polarization (repolarization) of the nerve cell, which leads to a paralyzing effect. Effective against nits, larvae and mature individuals of head and pubic lice, fleas, mites (including scabies) and other ectoparasites of the arthropod family. With single treatment of surfaces affected by pediculosis, the effect lasts from 2-3 weeks to 6 weeks (depending on the used dosage form). As an anti-lice agent it is effective after single treatment. It is minimally toxic for humans and when applied to the skin in the recommended doses and concentrations, it does not have skin-resorptive, locally irritating and sensitizing effects.

How to take, the dosage

Moisturize hair profusely with Veda Shampoo solution using a cotton swab, rubbing into the hair roots.

The amount per person is 10-60 ml, depending on the thickness and length of the hair. After treatment cover the head with a bandage and wash off after 40 minutes with warm running water and soap or shampoo.

After washing, the hair is combed with a fine-tooth comb to remove dead insects. If live lice are found 7 days after application, a second treatment is recommended.

If there is a risk of re-infestation in a community (school, kindergarten), apply the product after washing the hair and leave it on the hair after drying.

The product Veda applied to the hair retains its activity for approximately 2 weeks (prevents the reproduction of newly infested lice on the hair).

Repeat the treatment after each hair wash. Remove dead nits from hair with a dense comb or one at a time because they are firmly attached to the hair.

Special Instructions

Treatment should be done in a well-ventilated room or outdoors.

Application to the mucous membranes of the eyes, nasal passages, mouth and external genitalia should be avoided and can be protected with a cotton swab (if accidentally splashed, rinse with running water).

Wash hands and rinse mouth with running water after treatment.

In case of ingestion, gastric lavage and symptomatic treatment should be given.
