Paranit shampoo + comb, 200 ml

White mineral oil (klearol) – 69%, foaming agents – 30%, perfume composition – 1%.

Directions for use

1) Check for lice and nits

Check for lice and nits in all family members using the comb included in the kit. All family members found to have lice should be treated on the same day to avoid reinfestation.

• The test is best carried out on dry hair in good light.

• First comb your hair, then check for lice and nits strand by strand.

• Carefully examine the hair roots in the areas where lice and nits are most commonly found, behind the ears and in the lower back of the head.

• Wash the comb thoroughly after each use to avoid infestation.

2) Apply Paranit Shampoo

Apply the desired amount of Paranit Shampoo to dry hair. Distribute the product over the entire length of the hair, from root to tip.

Make sure Paranit Shampoo is applied evenly to the scalp and along the hair. Massage the hair and scalp, especially in the areas behind the ears and at the back of the head. Leave Paranit Shampoo on the hair for 10 minutes. This is enough time to kill lice and nits.

The bottle can be used for up to 8 treatments depending on the level of insect infestation, length and density of the hair.

3) Add water and wash your hair.

After 10 minutes, add the desired amount of water to your hair and whip up a lather. Rinse off the foam thoroughly with water and rinse your hair. Make sure to rinse completely from hair and scalp.

4) Remove the lice and nits

Before drying the hair, remove the lice and nits with the special comb included with the Paranit Shampoo.

4. 1. Comb the hair with a normal comb.

   3. Divide your hair into 4 sections: from your forehead to the base of your neck, and from one ear to the other. If you have long hair, secure or braid each section.

   4. Perfect each of your highlights one by one. To do this, separate the section into individual small strands so that the scalp is clearly visible.

   6. Comb each strand of hair using the comb, starting as close to your scalp as possible. Always brush each strand from the roots to the tips of your hair.

   8. Use a special comb to remove any lice and nits you find.

   10. Place each strand of hair tested and cleared of lice and nits to the other side of the untested strands.

   11. To avoid reinfestation, clean the comb after combing through each strand with cotton pads or cotton balls.

5) Repeat the treatment after 7 days

Repeat the treatment with Paranit Shampoo after 7 days and repeat steps 1-4.

Repeating the treatment guarantees the effectiveness of the treatment. Even if nits are accidentally left on the head after the first treatment, by repeating the treatment the lice that have hatched from the remaining nits will be eradicated before they can lay new nits.

Conduct disinfestation

Lice can stay alive outside the human body for 1-3 days. Therefore, to prevent reinfestation, clothes, bedding and towels should be washed in hot water at least +60°C, and objects (brushes, combs, hairpins, etc.) that have been in direct contact with the head should be washed.

Special Instructions

After killing lice and nits, there is a risk of reinfestation from other people (e.g. at school). If this happens, we recommend using Paranit Shampoo again. The effectiveness of Paranit Shampoo remains the same with repeated use. Since Paranit shampoo has a non-chemical way of action, so the lice do not develop resistance to the means Paranit shampoo even with repeated use.
