It has a sedative effect, has a moderate reflex vasodilator effect, caused by irritation of the sensitive nerve endings.

It stimulates the production and release of enkephalins, endorphins and a number of other peptides, histamine, kinins (due to irritation of mucosal receptors), which actively participate in the regulation of vascular permeability and the formation of pain sensations.

In sublingual administration the therapeutic effect occurs on the average in 5 minutes, and up to 70% of the drug is released within 3 minutes.

How to take, the dosage

Tablets – sublingually, 1 tablet. 2-3 times a day.

The frequency and duration of administration is determined depending on the effectiveness of treatment.

If the therapeutic effect is absent or insufficient within 5-10 minutes after intake, another therapy should be prescribed.

Special Instructions

Should be prescribed with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus (for dosage forms containing sugar).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Nausea, lacrimation, dizziness.
