Uro-Vaxom, capsules 6 mg 30 pcs

Uro-Vaxom has the following effects: stimulates T-lymphocytes: induces formation of endogenous interferon; increases the content of immunoglobulin A (IgA), including in urine.

Uro-Vaxom reduces the frequency of recurrent urinary tract infections, especially cystitis.

Indications

Combined treatment and prevention of relapses of chronic urinary tract infections, especially cystitis, regardless of the nature of the microorganism, in combination with antibiotics or antiseptics in adults and children from 4 years of age.

Pharmacological effect

Active ingredient

Escherichia coli bacteria lysate

Composition

Active substance:
lyophilized lysate of Escherichia coli bacteria – 6 mg;
Excipients:
propyl gallate (anhydrous) – 0.084 mg; sodium glutamate (anhydrous) – 3.03 mg; mannitol up to 60.00 mg; pregelatinized starch – 77.00 mg; magnesium stearate – 3.00 mg; mannitol – required amount up to 200.00 mg;
Excipients of the capsule shell:
iron oxide red (E 172) – 0.01 mg; iron oxide yellow (E 172) – 0.21 mg; titanium dioxide (E 171) – 0.87 mg (dyes); gelatin up to 50.00 mg.

Pregnancy

No clinical studies have been conducted on pregnant women.

Animal studies have not revealed any adverse effects on pregnancy, embryonic, fetal and/or postnatal development.

With regard to breastfeeding, special studies have not been conducted and information on this issue is still not available.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug Uro-Vaxom.

Side Effects

Individuals may experience minor gastrointestinal disturbances (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting), skin reactions (pruritus, exanthema, erythema) and limited allergic skin reactions. Rarely – slight fever.

In case of more severe complications, treatment should be stopped and consult with your doctor.

Interaction

Interactions with other drugs have not been established to date.

As a precaution, the drug should not be used two weeks before and two weeks after ingestion of live vaccines.

Immunosuppressive drugs may affect the effect of the drug.

Overdose

There are no data on cases of overdose.

The nature of the drug Uro-Vaxom and the results of studies of its toxicity indicate that overdose is unlikely.
