Composition

Cotton – 80%, polyester – 15%; Lycra – 5%.

Directions for use

– When applying the bandage, unscrew the bandage from yourself as shown in Fig. 1. Start bandaging from the base of the fingers, stretching the bandage 50-60% (leave the fingers loose). Do not try to stretch the bandage as far as necessary. – Fix the ankle joint securely by wrapping the bandage around the heel like a hammock. Then, in descending and ascending coils like a figure of eight, continue to bandage the tibia. Make sure that each next turn overlaps the previous one by half, as shown in Fig. 2. – As you approach the knee joint, loosen the bandage slightly. If necessary, continue applying the bandage to the knee and thigh in the same descending and ascending coils. – When finished, secure the end of the bandage with a Velcro strap. Apply the bandage similarly to other joints or muscles. – The bandage should be coiled before the next use. Start winding with the clasp, its hooked part should be in the position as shown in Fig. 3. Then fold it inward (see Fig. 4) and continue to roll the bandage. There are many ways to apply a compression bandage with an elastic bandage, and the doctor may prescribe others.
