In dyspepsia, flatulence – adults – 5 to 10 capsules (1-2 g) 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-7 days.
The course of treatment in diseases accompanied by fermentation and putrefaction in the intestines, increased gastric juice secretion, lasts 1 to 2 weeks.

Children from 3 to 7 years – 1 to 3 capsules 2 times a day (up to 5 g) or as prescribed by the doctor.
Interaction
Reduces the effectiveness of simultaneously taken drugs, including antitoxic drugs, the effect of which develops after absorption (methionine, etc.).
Decreases the effectiveness of drugs acting on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract (including ipecacuana and thermopsis).
Special Instructions
In the treatment of intoxication it is necessary to create an excess of charcoal in the stomach (before gastric lavage) and in the intestine (after gastric lavage). Reducing the concentration of charcoal in the medium promotes desorption of the bound substance and its absorption (to prevent resorption of the released substance, repeated gastric lavage and administration of charcoal is recommended).
The presence of food masses in the gastrointestinal tract requires administration of activated charcoal in high doses, because the gastrointestinal contents are sorbed by the charcoal and its activity is reduced.
If poisoning is caused by substances involved in enterohepatic circulation (cardiac glycosides, indomethacin, morphine and other opiates), it is necessary to use charcoal for several days. When using the drug for more than 10-14 days, prophylactic administration of vitamins and calcium preparations is necessary (only under medical supervision).
Ultra-Adsorb should be stored away from substances that release gases or vapors into the atmosphere. Storage in air (especially humid air) reduces the sorption capacity of the carbon.
The use of Ultra – Adsorb may cause stools to turn black, which is not a clinical symptom.
