Troxerutin Vramed has venotonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, antioxidant effect.Flanovoid (rutin derivative), has P-vitamin activity; has venotonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effect.

Its pharmacodynamic properties are associated with participation of bioflavonoids of troxerutin in redox processes and inhibition of hyaluronidase.

Inhibiting hyaluronidase, troxerutin stabilizes the hyaluronic acid of cell membranes and reduces capillary permeability and fragility and increases their tone.

It has antioxidant activity, thus preventing oxidation of ascorbic acid, adrenaline and lipids. It prevents damage to the basal membrane of endothelial cells when it is exposed to various factors.

Troxerutin reduces exudative inflammation in the vascular wall by limiting the adhesion of platelets to its surface.

The treatment with troxerutin eliminates the feeling of heaviness in the legs, reduces tissue swelling,
improves trophicity.

Indications

chronic venous insufficiency;
varicose veins;
superficial thrombophlebitis, periphlebitis and phlebothrombosis;
post-traumatic swelling of soft tissues, hematoma;
postthrombotic syndrome.

Pregnancy

Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy and during breastfeeding; in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, it can only be used as prescribed by a doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, chronic gastritis (in the acute phase).

Side Effects

Allergic reactions (skin rash), erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, headache.
