Troxerutin Vetprom, gel 2%, 40 g

Trokserutin VetProm – venotonizing, angioprotective agent, bioflavonoid.

Limits the permeability and fragility of capillaries, strengthens the vascular wall, improves microcirculation, has an anti-edema effect. It participates in oxidation-reduction processes, blocks the hyaluronic acid of cell membranes.

It increases the density of the vascular wall, reduces the exudation of the liquid part of the plasma and the diapedesis of the blood cells. Reduces inflammation in the vascular wall by limiting platelet adhesion to its surface.

The use of Troxerutin is possible both in the initial and in the later stages of the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, it is possible to use as one of the components of complex treatment.

Pharmacokinetics

In application of the gel on the skin the active ingredient of the gel penetrates quickly through the epidermis, after 30 minutes it is found in the dermis and after 2-5 hours in the p/u fatty tissue.

How to take, the dosage

Externally: the gel is applied evenly with a thin layer in the morning and evening on the skin over the painful area and massaged gently until full absorption.

The dose of the drug depends on the area of the affected surface, but should not exceed 3-4 cm of gel (1.5-2 g).

The gel can be applied under an occlusive dressing.

Special Instructions

In the treatment of superficial thrombophlebitis or deep vein thrombosis, the use of Troxerutin does not exclude the need for anti-inflammatory and antithrombotic therapy.

Side effects

Allergic reactions in the form of skin rashes and itching.

Pregnancy use

Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy and lactation, in the II and III trimesters of pregnancy can be used only with a doctor’s prescription.
