Biologically active food supplement “Eleutherococcus extract with calcium alginate “Tregi-In” is a product produced from Eleutherococcus senticosus, a shrub belonging to the family Araliaceae, which grows only in the Far East – in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk regions, the Amur region, South Sakhalin, as well as in Korea, Japan and northeast China (seven glycosides were found in the roots and rhizomes of Spiny Eleutherococcus, called eleutherosides A, B, B-1, C, D, E and F) and calcium alginate, produced on the basis of the calcium salt of alginic acid extracted from the brown seaweed Kelp.

The eleutherosides are the most valuable substance in eleutherococcus. Eleutherosides can be found only in this plant. Eleutherosides improve the permeability of glucose through cell membranes, which helps reduce the amount of sugar in the blood.

Calcium alginate is recommended as a supplemental source of unique, highly effective soluble dietary fiber of marine origin (alginates) and bioavailable calcium in ionic form.
