Directions for use

Ingestion, after meals.

Children from 3 to 6 years – 1/2 teaspoon 3 times a day.

Children from 6 to 12 years – 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.

Toddlers from 12 to 18 years of age – 1 dessert spoon 3 times a day.

Adults – 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.

The average course of treatment – 10-14 days. Conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible after consultation with the doctor.

Special Instructions

Patients with diabetes mellitus and persons on a reduced carbohydrate diet should be aware that one teaspoon of the product contains about 3.48 g of sucrose (0.29 CGU), one dessert spoon – about 6.96 g of sucrose (0.58 CGU), one tablespoon – about 10.44 g of sucrose (0.87 CGU).

The alcohol content of the product is 8.5 to 11.5%.

In a single dose of the drug, the maximum absolute alcohol (ethanol) content is:

In children 3 to 6 years old, about 0.23 g; 6 to 12 years old, about 0.45 g; 12 to 18 years old, about 0.91 g;

In adults, about 1.36 g.

The daily dose of the drug has a maximum absolute alcohol (ethanol) content of:

In children 3 to 6 years old, about 0.68 g; 6 to 12 years old, about 1.36 g; 12 to 18 years old, about 2.72 g;

In adults, about 4.08 g.

When taking the drug, refrain from performing potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration and rapid psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles, working with moving machinery, dispatcher and operator work).

Contraindications

Diabetes mellitus; persons on a reduced carbohydrate diet; children over 3 years of age.

Side effects

Individual intolerance, diabetes, children under 3 years of age, pregnancy, lactation, peptic ulcer, epilepsy, liver and brain disease.

Overdose

In prolonged use in doses higher than recommended, “bromism” phenomena may occur: rhinitis, cough, conjunctivitis, lethargy, impaired memory, apathy, skin rash; nausea, vomiting.

Treatment: symptomatic.
